Right now I am really inspired by painter Pat Steir's work from the 80's and 90's. Her paintings which resemble waterfalls use a great amount of technique and skill that most cannot achieve in a lifetime. Many compare her to Jackson Pollock due to her own
"drip" technique but in my opinion her Japanesse inspired work could not be more different from Pollock's. Here are some of my favorite pieces from her work.
